The German-Moldovan Partnering in Business with Germany Programme prepares executives from Moldova specifically for business initiation and economic cooperation with German enterprises. Each year, around 35 Moldovan executives take part in this practical training. They come from firms which have foreign trade potential that wish to establish contacts in Germany. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Under the motto “Partnering in Business with Germany” the participants acquire management skills, gain insights into German business practices and establish contact with German enterprises, mainly medium-sized firms. The programme is aimed at managers and future managers, and at upper and middle management levels of Moldovan enterprises and is generally open to all industries.
A Bilateral Agreement Between the Two Countries
Since 2008, Moldova has been a Partnering in Business with Germany partner country. A corresponding government agreement exists between the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs andClimate Action (BMWK) and the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. So far, 383 entrepreneurs from Moldova have participated in the programme.
