Egypt
The German-Egyptian Partnering in Business with Germany programme prepares executives from Egypt specifically for initiating business and economic cooperation with German companies. Every year, around 40 Egyptian managers take part in the practice-oriented training programme. They come from companies with foreign trade potential that want to establish contacts with Germany. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Under the motto Partnering in Business with Germany, the participants acquire management skills, gain insights into German business practice and establish contacts with German companies, primarily SMEs. The programme is aimed at managers and junior managers at upper and middle management level in Egyptian companies and is generally open to all sectors.
A Bilateral Agreement Between the Two Countries
Egypt has been a partner country of the Partnering in Business with Germany programme since 2011. A corresponding intergovernmental agreement exists between the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) and the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). So far, 349 participants from Egypt have taken part in the programme.
