Cooperation with Egypt to be continued

Germany and Egypt have extended their cooperation within the framework of the Manager Training Programme (MP) up to 2025. German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), Robert Habeck, and Nevine Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Egypt, signed a Joint Declaration to that effect on 21 June 2022 in Berlin.

At the 25th Arab-German Business Forum that followed, diplomats, partners and guests from politics, business and society in the Arab countries and Germany exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation and discussed current topics and trends. The contribution of the Manager Training Programme to the initiation of German-Egyptian business relations was expanded on at the MP stand. Here the areas of energy, digitalisation and Industry 4.0 were of particular interest.

Egypt has been a partner of the Manager Training Programme since 2012. Since then, more than 270 Egyptian executives have participated.
